ShibuChameettachal has held management and leadership positions for around five years and as a researcher for a decade of experience from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IITD) and Hyderabad (IITH). He started his career as a microbiologist and selected Tissue engineering as the area of research. Previously worked in many governments and private funded research projects. Currently focused on 3D bioprinting for tissue and organ development. Shibu has 25 peer-reviewed publications including reviews and book chapters and more than a dozen national and international conferences. He also filed two patents. He was awarded Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council-Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award in 2018.

Dr Vijaykumar, with years of experience as a Maxillofacial surgeon, provides problems from the clinic to be researched which required immediate attention. He is running different research projects funded from both government and private agencies. Moreover, he is pursuing PhD from Dept. of Biomedical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. His research area is focusing on 3D printing and its translation to clinics. He has published four peer-reviewed papers and filed two patents. Dr Vijaykumar has been awarded as best emerging healthcare personality 2020 and Prime Minister’s research fellowship in 2017

Subha Narayan Rath is a faculty in Dept. of Biomedical Engineering for the last six years and serving as a scientific Advisor to SkelRegen. Dr Rath is a clinician turned researcher. After his MBBS degree, he pursued Masters of Medical Science and Technology (MMST) from IIT Kharagpur and PhD in Divison of Bioengineering at NUS, Singapore. He has 5 years of post-doctoral research experience in the University Hospital of Erlangen, Germany. His current research interests are mostly related to the bench to bedside patient-application oriented research. They include 3D printing for bone, cartilage, and blood vessels; a device for diabetes allogeneic cell therapy; in vitro drug testing for patient-specific cancer cells. Besides, he is developing a few application-oriented research for embryo monitoring, 3D printed osteo-conducive grafts for mandible defects. He has active collaboration with several hospitals. His projects are being conducted in the Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG), NIMS, and a few hospitals outside Hyderabad. Currently, he is working with 3 post-doctoral fellows and almost 15 PhD students, the details can be found on his website. He has serval peer-reviewed publications and attends various national and international conferences.

SahelySaha holds a PhD in Biotechnology & Medical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India. She gained experience in tissue engineering; biomaterial synthesis, characterization and animal cell culture. Besides research, she has a flair for scientific writing: she has authored 4 research articles in reputed journals and presented in more than 5 international/national conferences over the past 3 years. Her current work at SkelRegen focuses on the development of 3D printed bone grafts for the reconstruction of mandibular defect sites.
